Fall is here and people from around the world are flocking to Kyoto to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage. The red maple leaves are a sight to behold! After a long day of walking and sightseeing come and relax at our warm and friendly pubs. We always have plenty of tasty food & drink, as well as live music, sports, and free wifi. 

Beaujolais Nouveau Day!
Thursday, November 16th is Beaujolais Nouveau Day! Come enjoy this year's new wine and celebrate this fun French tradition with us! We'll have many different bottles to try at our pubs. Learn more Beaujolais Nouveau Day at our blog here.

Shamrock Music Festival is back!

Our end-of-summer mini music fest will be co-hosted again this year with our friends at The Rockin' Hearts Public House in Uji. If you've never checked them out then do so now! It's a truly rockin' pub located next to JR Uji Station. Here is the schedule so far:

Saturday, August 27th: Man in the Moon Irish Pub @ Kyoto Station from 6pm
Sunday, August 28th:   The Rockin' Hearts Public House from 6:30pm

Dear Friends,

We want to thank everyone involved with the Shamrock Music Festival 2015 in Kyoto! Our love goes out to all of the talented local musicians here in the Kansai area. The music was fantastic and the energy was through the roof! It was a joy to see all of your happy faces in our pubs. 2015 was our first year to do a joint event with the Rockin' Hearts Public House in Uji City. This pub is a true gem with an incredible staff and owner. We could not have asked for a better partner for this event.

Man in the Moon Irish Pub's annual music festival is here again! A day and a night of good music, good people, and tasty beverages! This year we are having a joint event with our friends at the The Rockin' Hearts Public House in beautiful Uji City (located next to Uji Station, about 20 minutes from Kyoto Station). The Shamrock Music Festival features local musicians from Kyoto and the surrounding area. You may have seen some of these great bands at our live music nights before!
